Not anticipating that it would actually happen so fast, and here it is…tomorrow is the last day. Much will continue, but something has ended.
The evening with the Alianza Staff at Jovita's was the real culmination, the only moment in this whole process where I've felt truly honored. What a blessing to have a book of years [made on a Mac], with the images of string games and my Chinese mask, me looking bald at a family event in the Multi-Purpose room, a mug shot…and so many vibrant moments and enthusiastic faces.
Thanks to all those students, their parents, and my colleagues, who made it such a fruitful career.
